Karen Campi Recognized as 2025 Woman of Influence by MODC for Her Work in Community Advocacy and Youth Mental Health

Campi Dental is proud to announce that Karen Campi has been named the 2025 Woman of Influence by the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC). Presented at MODC’s Annual Silver Gull Awards on May 1st—recognized as the region’s premier awards and networking event—this prestigious honor celebrates local leaders who make outstanding contributions to their communities. Karen’s selection is a powerful testament to her unwavering dedication, leadership, and service throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Karen Campi, VP of Marketing & Community Affairs at Campi Dental is a key force behind Campi Dental’s philanthropic initiative, Campi Cares. Karen has worked tirelessly to create meaningful partnerships, support local organizations, and lead impactful community outreach efforts over the past 25 years. Under her guidance, Campi Cares has become a beacon of generosity and advocacy, championing causes related to education, health, veterans, children, and underserved populations.

Karen’s most impactful initiative is her work with the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS), where she launched Making Dentists Partners in Youth Suicide Prevention — a groundbreaking program that trains dental professionals to recognize warning signs of mental health struggles in young patients. Her mission is to expand this life-saving initiative nationally, creating a wider network of providers who can help support youth in crisis.

Campi Dental, a fourth-generation family-owned practice celebrating over 90 years of service, has long been known not only for its excellence in dentistry, but also for its deep-rooted commitment to the community. Karen’s recognition as a Woman of Influence marks yet another proud milestone in the Campi legacy.
