February is Children’s Dental Health Month!

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month, a time to celebrate and promote the importance of oral health for kids! At Campi Dental, we’re passionate about helping children develop healthy dental habits that last a lifetime. This month, we’re raising awareness about the benefits of proper brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups in preventing cavities and supporting overall well-being. Our team is dedicated to creating a fun, positive experience for young patients, empowering them to care for their smiles with confidence. Join us in celebrating this special month and let’s work together to build happy, healthy smiles for the future!

Throughout February our team works hard to connect with local schools to help educate young children on the importance of dental health. We are proud to deliver over 500 children’s dental hygiene bags to local schools each year and now we’re excited to share with them our Children’s Dental Health Toolkit.

Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Our fourth-generation dental practice has proudly cared for the children of Monmouth and Ocean Counties since 1933, offering state-of-the-art general and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

Our team is specially trained to work with children and put them at ease while teaching them the proper way to take care of their teeth. We work hard to make their time enjoyable and show them that going to the dentist can be fun!

The habits that we instill as parents at this very impressionable stage can be long-lasting. We need to teach our children how important it is to take care of their teeth now so when they get their permanent teeth they are prepared. Parents are strongly recommended to supervise children practicing oral hygiene. They must brush for at least two minutes, twice a day, and brush every side of every tooth.
