Lasers:  Drs. Campi pioneered the use of dental lasers more than 20 years ago and have remained on the cutting edge ever since. We currently utilize four different laser wave lengths including soft and hard tissue lasers. Lasers are now used for a wide variety of procedures encompassing gum surgery, frenectomies and biopsies.

Diode Laser/CO²/Nd YAG Laser:  Soft tissue lasers used for periodontal surgery, biopsies and cosmetic re-contouring of soft tissue.   

The Laser delivers energy in the form of light. Depending on the intended result, this energy travels at different wavelengths and is absorbed by a “target.” In dentistry, these targets can be enamel, decay, gum tissue, or whitening enhancers. Each one absorbs a different wavelength of light while reflecting others. For soft tissue (surgical) procedures it eliminates the need for suturing and healing is much faster.
