2025 Campi Cares Initiatives
Campi Cares is our practice’s philanthropic initiative that was born out of the long standing tradition of giving back to the community. As a dedicated philanthropist and generous contributor to a variety of charitable organizations, Campi Dental’s founder, Dr. John Campi paved the way for a long history of positive community involvement for the practice. Campi Cares today is led by the Campi Families with participation from the entire Campi Dental team. Our practice is not only committed to delivering expert dental care but is passionate about supporting the communities in which we practice and our patients live. Giving back is a passion of ours and is demonstrated in our actions and how we serve our families, communities, and environment.

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month.
At Campi Dental, we’re committed to doing our part to spread awareness and educate our community about oral cancer—its risks, warning signs, symptoms, and prevention. Throughout April, we share important information with our patients, local organizations, and across social media to help raise awareness.
Early detection is key! We encourage everyone to get screened for oral cancer—it’s quick, painless, and could save a life. Stay informed, get checked, and help us spread the word!
We want to thank our incredible community for allowing us to get out there, educate, and advocate for early detection and prevention of Oral Cancer throughout the month of April. At Campi Dental, we’re passionate about protecting your health beyond just your smile.
Campi Dental Donated $25 for every Oral Cancer screening performed in the month of April
Free Oral Cancer Screenings for Guests of Mary’s Place by the Sea
Campi Dental is proud to offer complimentary oral cancer screenings to all past and present guests of Mary’s Place. It’s our way of giving back to an organization that gives so much to others, and to the amazingly strong women that have passed through their doors.
During Oral Cancer Awareness Month, our team had the privilege of spending time at the Boys & Girls Club presenting “The Truth About Vaping: Everything You Need to Know” — a powerful conversation with local kids about the real risks behind the vaping trend.
With vaping on the rise, we’re also seeing a troubling increase in oral health issues among younger patients — and we believe the best way to combat it is through knowledge. This visit was especially meaningful to us. Campi Dental has a deep-rooted history with the Boys & Girls Club — our founder, Dr. John G. Campi, was one of the founding members of the Boys Club of Asbury Park back in 1938.
We’re honored to be continuing the legacy of service, prevention, and community care by partnering with the BGC, which is a full-circle moment we’ll never forget.

2025 Campi Dental Scholarships
March 2025
As advocates for education Campi Dental is delighted to offer aspiring students the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams. Our scholarship initiative is designed to recognize and support individuals who exhibit a commitment to academic achievement, community service, and a passion for making a positive impact in the medical field.
Campi Dental proudly launched two educational scholarships in 2023 as a way to honor the 90th Anniversary of the dental practice as well as the legacy of the Campi Dental founder, Dr. John G. Campi. Two separate scholarships were developed to support high school students with different missions. One focusing on supporting a promising academic student looking to enter the field of medicine, and the other focusing on supporting a student with a passion for giving back and making a difference in their community.

Scholarship Winners will be announced and presented with their awards in the month of June
February 2025
Throughout February, Campi Dental raised awareness about the importance of children’s oral health. Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.
We are proud to partner with several local elementary schools and preschools to provide their classrooms with fun, educational resources that explain to children from a young age the importance of oral health. The children all get to take home a dental goody bag filled with a new tooth brush, floss, mouth wash, a brushing chart, and tips and tricks to make brushing at home fun and easy.
The habits that we as parents instill at this very impressionable stage can be long lasting. We need to teach our children how important it is to take care of their teeth now so when they get their permanent teeth they are prepared. Parents are strongly recommended to supervise children practicing oral hygiene. They must brush for at least two minutes and brush every side of every tooth.
The best time for a child’s first visit to the dentist is between ages 2 and 3.
