Children’s Dental Health Month

Campi Dental has been keeping those little smiles healthy since 1933.

Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Our fourth generation dental practice has proudly cared for the children of Monmouth and Ocean Counties since 1933, offering state-of-the-art general and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

Our team is specially trained to work with children and put them at ease while teaching them the proper way to take care of their teeth. We work hard to make their time enjoyable and show them that going to the dentist can be fun!

The habits that we instill as parents at this very impressionable stage can be long lasting. We need to teach our children how important it is to take care of their teeth now so when they get their permanent teeth they are prepared. Parents are strongly recommended to supervise children practicing oral hygiene. They must brush for at least two minutes, twice a day, and brush every side of every tooth.

February is Children’s Dental Health Month!

Throughout the month of February our team works hard to connect with local schools to help educate young children on the importance of dental health. We are proud to deliver over 500 children’s dental hygiene bags to local schools each year and now we’re excited to share our Children’s Dental Toolkit.

Children’s Dental Health Toolkit

Below is our digital Children’s Dental Health Month Toolkit. You will find files to our brushing chart, a children’s dental cleaning guide with tips and items to avoid, dental coloring pages, and links to fun and educational videos that parents and teachers can share with their kids.

You can click each file to save and print them for unlimited use. If you have any issues accessing the files or have any questions, please email [email protected]. We hope you enjoy them!

Links to Educational Videos and Activities

Below are links to videos you can share with your children or your class, there is also a very cool brushing experiment you can do that the kids will love. The videos do a great job explaining to kids the importance of dental care while also making it fun and entertaining.

We hope you find this information valuable and get to have some fun with the kids talking about dental care! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
