Bonding: Bonding
is a process in which tooth-colored material is applied
to tooth surfaces, sculpted into shape, hardened,
and polished to match surrounding teeth. Using this
procedure, Drs. Campi can close gaps, repair chipped
or fractured teeth, and disguise discolored teeth.
Bonding usually requires one office visit and no
anesthesia.
Tooth Whitening: BriteSmile,
the state-of-the-art tooth whitening system, is an
in-office procedure that is safe, fast and the most
effective. BriteSmile will get your teeth as white
as they can be in only one visit utilizing “blue
light” technology
and a gentle whitening gel. The results are dramatic;
even stubborn tetracycline, coffee, tobacco stains,
and darkening due to age can be treated successfully.
The BriteSmile treatment has been proven safe in clinical studies conducted
by independent university researchers. |
Laminates (Veneers): Usually customized from porcelain, veneers are thin, semi-translucent facings
bonded to the front surfaces of teeth. Veneers are durable, stain-resistant,
and natural-looking. They conceal broken, chipped, spaced, discolored, crooked,
and misshapen teeth, and provide you with the beautiful smile you have always
wanted.
Crown: If not enough tooth structure is present for a laminate, a crown is recommended
and has the same cosmetic effect as a laminate.
White/Composite Fillings: Made of tooth-colored
material, composite fillings restore the teeth's natural beauty. Composite fillings can be
matched very closely to your natural tooth color and are virtually indistinguishable
from non-restored teeth. The composites we use have proven to be extremely
durable and stain resistant. They are more conservative than other filling material
and are stronger due to the bonding process. Our office is completely
mercury-free.
Full Dentures: Full dentures are used if there
are no teeth left for support. The full denture covers more of the jaw than
a partial denture and is partly held in place by a natural vacuum in the
mouth. Retention and comfort of full dentures are greatly enhanced by implant
dentistry.
Partial Dentures: Partial dentures are indicated
if some serviceable teeth are present for support in conjunction with the
gums and jawbone. A partial denture, though removable, provides form and
function replacement for missing teeth. Drs.' Campi are skilled with several
types of partial dentures including special custom attachments and cosmetic
partials with no visible metal.
